Urban is our specialist Aluminium products division where we manufacture a range of Glazing Cassettes, the Highline kits and our unique Urban Bar.
Create the heritage look with Urban Bar, the latest innovation from RegaLead. This clip-on aluminium astragal bar has been designed to give fabricators a cost-effective, high-performance solution for creating the ‘Crittal’ aesthetic.
Designed for both aluminium and PVCu windows and doors, Urban Bar can upgrade a standard product with a stunning industrial-style finish, creating awe-inspiring spaces that seamlessly blend nostalgia and contemporary appeal.
The aluminium astragal bars are permanently attached to the glass using a patented, sprung steel clip system to enable easy bar positioning which counteracts the effects of thermal expansion and contraction, ensuring the bars stay put for the lifetime of the door.
The flat aluminium bars provide an outstanding, authentic appearance both inside and out, and the internal Duplex bars make the single-sealed unit look like it has been created from individual panes.
Urban Bar has been designed to be extremely installer and fabricator friendly, making it easy to fit and making removal even easier for replacement bar or glass. A steel claw clip is securely held in place on the glass with a quality tape chosen for its quality and suitability. The use of corded gaskets means no shrinkage and is easy to insert. We also can supply clips pre-taped with white or black backing for that perfect finish.
