For many years SF700 Pebble and SF 751 Frost have been two of the most popular films in the Stained Glass Art Films range and are used by most customers. These two films are, however, not manufactured in house and have been subject to multiple price increases over recent years. We have absorbed most of these increases ourselves to support our customers but the latest round of very significant price increases from our suppliers make this policy un-sustainable.
With effect from 1st June 2026 the price of both Pebble and Frost will be increased by 18%.
As these effects are so popular in the market, and the necessary price increases are so significant we have taken the decision to manufacture in-house new versions of these films.
Using our unique UV printing technology, we able to re-create these effects as a printed film. The UV printing gives a very similar “textured” effect and obscurity level to the film.
These films are available for purchase with immediate effect and will be priced as following
SF785 Pepper – Band B
SF786 Etched – Band A
Large Format sheets
Due to the nature of our printing process, these new films will not be available on roll format but will be available as oversized sheets at 660 x 990mm.
Pebble and Frost will continue to be offered as both sheet and roll formats at the new, higher price.
