More about Guy
Guy is Joint Managing Director at RegaLead with a focus on sales, marketing and finance. Since joining RegaLead in 1992, Guy has been involved in development within all areas of the business. Following a short sabbatical selling security glazing tapes, sealants and expansion joints at Alfas Industries, Guy re-joined RegaLead as Sales Director in 2001. He played an integral part in the management buyout of the same year, followed by a secondary buyout in 2009. He assumed the Joint Managing Director role in 2010.
When he is not finding new and exciting ways to develop and grow the business, Guy is known to play a round or two of golf (badly, by his own admission). He is also a keen traveller – with an enviable list of destinations visited, he maintains there is still a lot to see.
More about Darren
Darren is Joint Managing Director at RegaLead with a focus on all things operational and IT. Part of the original team that started Cadram from its conception in 1999 and throughout its growth, Darren joined RegaLead as part of the buyout in 2009. He assumed the role of Joint Managing Director in 2010.
When not travelling between the far flung outposts of RegaLead in Scotland and Manchester from his home in Kent, or traveling the globe looking for innovative new products for RegaLead, Darren enjoys spending as much time as possible in the Alps or anywhere else with sufficient snow for skiing. He is also a part time cyclist and very, very part time golfer.
More about Simon
Simon joined RegaLead as Financial Controller in June 2012 to help strengthen the Finance and Management Teams, and subsequently became Finance Director in January 2017. After gaining a chemistry degree (and following several unsuccessful attempts to turn lead into gold), Simon joined a Manchester firm of Chartered Accountants. Prior to his appointment at RegaLead, Simon held several other Senior Finance & Company Secretarial roles for both SME & Plc businesses, where he gained experience in the chemical, lubricant, specialist technology and engineering sectors.
When not playing on his abacus, Simon enjoys sport and is a frustrated Manchester United supporter. He also enjoys travelling and spending time with his family and friends.
More about Stephen
Chartered Accountant Stephen joined RegaLead in 1999. He became Finance Director and General Manager in 2001 as a member of the management buyout team. He now pursues a portfolio career, working with a number of growing businesses, but continuing to work part-time at RegaLead, having ‘exited’ as a shareholder in 2009.
Stephen’s main role in the business as ‘elder statesman’ is to bring visibility and order to the performance and to the slipstreams left by Darren and Guy. In his spare time, Stephen is a slow but keen cyclist and taxi service to his children.
More about Paul
Paul is the Market Manager for the door industry, with his main focus being the development of long term relationships with existing customers and introducing new product developments to the door industry. He first joined RegaLead as an office junior when he was just 16 years of age, and has remained with the company from then until today, (well, apart from that 18 month sabbatical period which nobody talks about).
Paul is an avid Manchester City fan, and he likes to swing the occasional golf club – although the people he plays with have been heard to comment that they would rather he didn’t.
More about Tony
Prior to joining RegaLead in 2014, Tony enjoyed more than 10 successful years both estimating and managing sales within the glass processing market. Tony’s primary focus is on the development of sales within the glass processing division, as well as new product development. With his extensive technical knowledge of the glass market, Tony is also keen to offer advice, where requested, to customers regarding a wide range of matters including glass machinery, product solutions, and much more.
Outside of work Tony enjoys time with his wife and son, with much of their weekends and holidays being spent under canvas at various festivals and campsites across the UK. Tony is also a keen supporter of Norwich City F.C, which is a first for RegaLead.
More about Paul
Paul joined RegaLead in 2015 after nine years working in business development at Yale Door & Window Solutions. Prior to this he held business development roles at both VBH Ltd and Cotswold Architectural, accounting for almost 20 years in the industry. In his role at RegaLead, Paul is involved in product development and sales strategy across composite door glass, colour and hardware as well as decorative glass for windows and a brand new colour profile solution — all of which are designed to help the fabricator.
Paul enjoys football and is a Liverpool fan — which hasn’t been massively well received in RegaLead’s Manchester office. He played senior football from the age of 15 but had to stop at 30 due to a knee injury. He now coaches his son’s U16 football team and previously coached his daughter’s. He also plays a bit of golf when he has time.
More about Roland
Outside of work, Roland owns a race horse and a restaurant (these facts are not related) is well known for his love of eye-catching shoes.
More about Gemma
Gemma began her longstanding career with RegaLead as an office junior in the sales office aged just 18. After a short break from her RegaLead role, she re-joined the company in March 2011, as Export Administrator. Today, Gemma holds the position of Office Manager, which sees her looking after key accounts which include the business’ North American and Australian customers.
A keen fitness enthusiast, Gemma’s main interest outside of RegaLead is working out at the gym.
More about Ricardo
Although no stranger to travel – during his time with RegaLead, he has visited more than 40 countries – Ricardo is still trying to get accustomed to driving during the freezing Canadian winters and has decided to take up snow boarding. Watch this space!
More about Filip
Filip joined RegaLead in 2007 after an extensive period of time within the soft window furnishing industry. He has a keen knowledge of sales and distribution, with previous experience within the Maritime business in one of the largest ports in Europe. This places him perfectly to understand exactly what it means to deliver on time by being in close contact with forwarders and ensuring the correct documentation is supplied.
When he is not working, Filip enjoys watching the odd football game and relaxing in the garden (weather permitting, obviously).
More about Zoleikha
Now back at RegaLead, Zoly (she’s happy to be called this as it’s easier to spell!) is using her valuable skills of creating, developing and implementing effective marketing and sales campaigns to benefit our customers with the focus always on excellent pre and post service.
When not working, Zoly loves spending time socialising, out and about with friends and exploring new places. Unlike everyone else at RegaLead, she does not play golf.
The people that do the ‘real’ work!
More about Paul
Paul is the Product Manager at RegaLead, responsible for the sourcing, procurement and development of products. He is the main contact for RegaLead’s suppliers of finished products across Asia and Europe. Joining the company in 2004, Paul has seen the business grow its product portfolio to more than 7000 lines (and still growing) from the initial supply of overlay products, to decorative solutions across the flat glass, composite door and glass processing industries.
When not at RegaLead Paul enjoys all types of motorsport, classic cars and motorbikes, cycling and travelling, when time permits. He also enjoys relaxing at home with a good G&T. With three grown up sons in varying locations around the UK, time for other activities can sometimes be at a premium.
More about Gary
Gary joined the world of RegaLead in 2001, having previously served in the Royal Navy on board HMS Ark Royal. His time in the Navy took him to some wonderful places, showed him some wonderful sites, and gave him some wonderful memories, from playing cricket with the street kids of Bombay in the early hours of the morning, to being served a constant stream of ‘Singapore Slings’ in the Palm Court of Raffles Hotel in Singapore.
It also stood him in good stead for his RegaLead career, with the Quality & Environmental Management Systems requiring a disciplined approach, precise attention to detail, and regular systematic review. As well as his Quality & Environmental commitments, Gary is also responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the internal CRM and ERP systems.
More about Robert
Longest serving member of staff Robert started as Stores Assistant in 1990. He has grown with the company, becoming the factory supervisor in 2002, and production manager in 2004. During this time he was in charge of all production staff and processes and the procurement for all production materials for the lead factory. Following the second management buyout, 2010 saw Robert promoted again to Operations Manager (North-west), incorporating the warehouse and film production, staff and procurement of all production materials for the print room.
Firmly dedicated to the company, Robert’s ambition is to see his career through at RegaLead to the end. Like much of the RegaLead team, his main interest outside of work is golf. Unlike much of the team, he can boast that he’s the best golfer in the business
More about Subho
Subho joined RegaLead in August 2015, bringing with him extensive R&D experience in the field of automotive and aerospace coatings for leading global brand Akzo Nobel, as well as a career in protective coatings for Asian Paints. He started with us as Development Chemist and thanks to his expertise and application was recently promoted to his managerial position.
When he’s not doing clever things in his lab, an avid Manchester United supporter, Subho likes to watch football (a lot), goes to the gym and enjoys playing a bit of piano.
